People Detection is a mode that you would use sporadically on an as-needed basis. These two iPhone models work differently from other iPhones because they incorporate distance-ranging light (LiDAR) technology that allows them to precisely calculate distance.

TelescopingĪ new Magnifier feature in iOS 14.2 for the iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max lets your phone alert you when other people are nearby by using augmented reality (AR) and machine learning to detect the location of humans. This is especially useful for blind and low-vision users. Tap End at the top left to exit that mode. With iOS 14, Magnifier lets you shoot multiple images in sequence, but these images are not stored in the Photos app. Tap the Overlapping Rectangles at the right of the shutter to create a sequence of freeze frames, and tap View to review them or the Share button to message or email them. Once you get your print into focus, you can shoot a quick image of the screen’s content for more stable reading. Tap the Lens button to freeze the frame. These brightness, contrast, and color filters tweak what you see to make details more visible. Other options include inverted grayscale and various combinations of yellow, red, and blue. A set of filters lets you invert colors in various combos, where black text on white text can look like a photographic negative of white text on black.

Once you are in the Magnifier app interface, a slider lets you enlarge the tableau, adjust the contrast, or boost the brightness - or you can use pinch and zoom gestures or simply move your finger up or down the screen to adjust the magnification. While Zoom is the default primary control, you can elevate one other secondary control to the front of the interface: Filters, Brightness, Contrast, or Flashlight. Tap the Flashlight icon to turn on the phone’s LED light and hold the icon to adjust the brightness level. I told the developer Mirek about your workaround. What is Hyperionics anyway? I joined just to say thanks. Then I moved to Techsmith snagit but it is pricey and now working from home (yeah) I moved back to MWsnap and at first it was useles but your post above made it work. I used to use until about 10 years ago a Polish program called MWsnap for screenshots. Select "Disable display scaling on high DPI settings" 5. Right-click on the executable and select "Properties" 3. Navigate to the folder where the HprSnap6.exe is located 2. With that said, I was able to work around the problem by disabling the display scaling on high DPI settings for the HyperSnap application (steps documented below).

HyperSnap 6 worked great on my old laptop and HyperSnap 8 has not yet been made available to us an upgrade option and this problem basically rendered the software unusable for my needs.
ZOOM IT MAGNIFIER APP WANT TO RECORD CONTENTS OF MY SCREEN WINDOWS 10
SeanFromTX I recently encountered this problem after receiving a new laptop with Windows 10 to replace my old Windows 7 one. It's a weird feature of Windows, they can't make the system work correctly after you change this setting without re-logging. As soon as you log off and on again, it will all work correctly. Ignore Log Off (on Win10 click "Sign out later") Now try using HyperSnap "Capture region" or "Capture window" etc. Windows says - depending on version - that "Some apps will not look best" (Win10) or "will not work correctly" (Win8) until you log off and on again. For example if you had it at 100%, move it to 125 or 150% You can easily reproduce this behavior on any Windows 10 or 8: - Right-click empty desktop - click Display settings - If you have more than one monitor connected, click the one that is your "mail display" - Move the slider below the monitors, described as "Change the size of text, apps and other.".

The simple solution for this problem is, of course, to log off, then log on again - or reboot your computer. This happens if you change the "Text Size" setting in Windows Display Settings, but ignore the system advise to log off and on again. You can't capture correctly everything you want. a Region capture, or Window capture, everything suddenly becomes bigger - all windows, text etc. On Windows 10 or 8 sometimes when you try to make e.g. Unwanted "zoom" effect while making a capture (everything gets bigger on the screen)
